Speaking in a short film produced by Lambeth Palace, the Archbishop of Canterbury talks about the sense of hopefulness and generosity which lie at the heart of marriage, and what this also tells us about the 'mystery' and 'delight' which can be found in this life-time commitment. Dr Williams, who will be conducting the marriage ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29th, also describes the sense of privilege he feels about his own role in the royal wedding.

Luke 23:39-43 tells us about the thief on the Cross:
[39] One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
[40] But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?
[41] We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."
[42] Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
[43] Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ this Sunday, March 23rd as "Resurrection Sunday" and it goes back to the beginnings of Christianity.

It is probably the oldest Christian observance we know about today. It represents a time of rebirth, new beginnings and the magic of spring.
But for Christians to celebrate "RESURRECTION SUNDAY" the rising of our Lord from the dead, now that is something to celebrate!!! Glory to God!!
